Our Wines
Franki’s Vineyards has been established as a pioneering venture, which does not follow the conventional patterns of the local wine industry from the selection of cultivars, through to the specially tailored ‘goblet’ vine training system.
22 hectares are used to grow our Grenache, Mourvèdre and Viognier from which we make a small selection of wine.

The exciting new addition to the range is “The Next Generation” Red Blend 2022
This Franki’s Vineyards 2022 Rhône blend has been made from Franki’s Vineyards bush vine Grenache and Mourvèdre grapes. The Shiraz wine was sourced from the Riebeek Valley which makes this blend a true representative of a wine from the Swartland. The Mourvèdre is the main component at 68%, with the Grenache at 14% and the Shiraz at 18%. The blend was matured for 9 months in 2nd and 3rd fill French oak and bottled in 2023. The nose is forthcoming with hints of cherry and on the palate, there are earthy meaty flavours, with some spice. This medium bodied dry red blend will pair well with all meat dishes. The wine is ready for consumption and can be cellared for up to 6 years. The ‘Next Generation’ label is a representation of the owner’s love for his grandchildren, and the positive energy in the making of the wine.
